My Review:

Once again Blain takes her paranormal/fantasy world by storm with this intriguing and complexly plotted tale that held me from cover to cover. Vivid descriptions are shaded with hints of darkness that gave the entire tale a bit of an eerie feeling for me.

I thoroughly enjoy Blain’s quirky characters. They make the tale so much more fun, contrasting to the dark undertones of the plot. The variety of personalities combined with the in-depth character development made the cast a joy to get to know.

This story was thoroughly enjoyable from cover to cover. It fits well into the series or could easily be read as a standalone for those looking for a new-to-them author.
