My Review:

What a rush! Once again Burton returns to the world of gods & men, or teens, with a fun filled and action packed story. The plot of this tale is wildly imaginative wherein Burton creates a seamless whole that transported me to another world. The mix of history, mythology, and reality was woven together in a creatively unique way. The intricate descriptions bring the world to life in Technicolor, allowing me to picture each and every aspect of it. I found myself lost in the world travelling alongside the characters.

I enjoyed the way that the main character grows and morphs based on her experiences. She went from a lonely, spoiled individual to someone that I really enjoyed knowing. The rest of the cast was a blast to get to know as well. The way that they came together yet still stood apart as individuals made me feel as if I were really part of something.

This is definitely a one of a kind tale that kept me on my toes throughout. It is a novel that will be loved by readers of all ages.
