This complete edition contains all 6 books of Sold to the Alpha. It’s the full story of sexy, curvaceous Avelyn and her hot Alpha, Max Blackmane. No cliffhangers!

Avelyn is a shifter bride, which means she has been raised and educated to become the wife of a shape-shifter and bear his children. The problem is that she doesn’t want to accept this fate. She will do everything in her power to gain her freedom and build a new life far away from shape-shifters and what society expects of her.

Alpha werewolf Max Blackmane is in search of a bride. When he comes to Alma Venus Boarding School, one of the best schools for shifter brides in the world, he is determined to buy a young woman who would bring him political advantages. However, when he sees Avelyn, his plans are turned upside down. He can’t imagine his life without her.

Avelyn uses every trick to convince Max to buy another bride. It doesn’t matter that his perfect body and smooth voice make her weak in the knees. She has a dream, and her dream does not include a wolf-shifter who thinks he can simply own her because the peace treaty between humans and shape-shifters says so.

This book contains explicit language and sizzling hot scenes that might set your Kindle on fire. Intended for readers 18+.

My Review:

What a wild trip! This story is well written and very vivid. Wylde’s well-presented concept of buying wives for shifters and of the world in general easily sets the scene for this novel. I enjoyed the gradual world building and character development. There is no massive information dump. You get to know people and how this world works as events unfold, yet by the end I had a complete and seamless picture. Not that it was necessary to the story or that the lack of info detracted from my enjoyment in any way, but out of curiosity, I would have liked to know more about the Shifter War, such as the cause, who won, details of the treaty, etc. The interspecies politics was very intriguing.

I loved the characters. They were so vivid and one of a kind, yet still intensely real. Emotions and chemistry both come into play in the relationship between the main characters. Max’s intensity shines through in every aspect of his personality. Avelyn’s rediscovery of what was really important to her was quite the journey to watch. Seeing these two come together while also getting to know everyone around them created a great story.

A solid plotline, a hot shifter Alpha and sizzling love scenes, what more can a gal ask for? This is a ‘new to me’ author who’s definitely got me hooked.
