Unable to let Dana slip away again, Mason bids on the one thing he's always wanted, even if it is completely forbidden. He's fantasied about having her to himself for years, touching her smooth skin, tasting her sweet lips, but Dana is off-limits, or is she? What started out as a way for each of them to get what they've always wanted is about to turn into so much more….

My Review:

What a novel! Carew is off and running from page one with a captivating premise and a hot & bothered story. The solid narrative and vivid descriptions combine to create a seamless whole for readers to immerse themselves in.

I enjoyed the complexity of the relationship between the main characters. The conflict between desires, social pressures, and right & wrong all come into play. At the same time, what truly makes these characters who they are is the way that they interact with one another when no one else is around. I appreciated getting to know them on all these different levels. It really brought the whole story together for me, making it more than simply a racy tale.

Carew never fails to make me feel like I’m walking through the pages of her story, rather than simply reading it. Stepbrother, Mine was no exception.
