His vow to save mankind turns him into the father of the damned…
Arawn, Lord of the Underworld, is faced with the hardest decision of his long life. Because of his neglect, humans are suffering…but his vow to make things right could cost him everything he holds dear.

Minerva, the Goddess of Love, holds his heart and soul, except the act he must now commit might very well destroy their love.

But his sacrifice doesn’t go far enough to end the humans’ agony. It compounds it—and turns him into a pawn. He cannot renege on his deal with the Triad, but he can avenge those he’s wronged.

To do that, he’ll need every one of his Huntsmen to win the greatest game of all time—the Wild Hunt.

Warning: Goodness and light vs. sacrifice and darkness. Seriously, what could possibly go wrong?

My Review:

Corrigan brings forward a brand new take on the Lord of the Underworld and the Goddess of Love. Both as individuals and in their roles in the world they intrigued and enchanted me. This novella is well written with a voice that really put me in touch with the man character. His desolation shone through. Corrigan writes sex as a natural extension of her characters, intrinsic to who they are yet still hot as hell!

Corrigan also gives fantastic historical background between the god and the unseelie king, taking readers into the series proper well informed, while also telling an exciting and at times emotional tale. The seamless world building allowed me to picture the world that Corrigan has created in all its dark glory.

This short story definitely launches Corrigan’s series into the realm of the unforgettable. I would highly recommend this story to those who enjoy a racy fantasy series.
