My Review:

Jackson returns to the lives of the Westmoreland family with a second chance romance full of suspense and more. This story is full of the vivid descriptions and vibrant story that I’ve come to expect from this author. Jackson’s solid writing style really enhanced the tale that she told.

I did find the characters a bit difficult to connect with at times. I found that I got to know them well and that they were intriguing, but they just seemed a little ‘separate’. That said, they also filled their roles in the story very well. Unfortunately because I couldn’t connect with either of the main characters I found it hard to fully get into the story.

This was a fun and interesting story that definitely filled its role in the Westmoreland series. It was a solid story that was an enjoyable read.
