My Review:
Paris was such an intriguing character. She’d been through so much, yet at the same time had so much. It was a paradox that many of us never think of, yet was so apparent in the way that Phillips developed it. Cooper was one of the best romance heroes I’ve read about in a very long while. He was romantic & caring sides were highlighted by his strong, alpha-esque nature. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them. OMG! I hate Paris’ conniving Mom! I feel as if she was inadvertently the driving force behind the entire tale. In more ways than one she shaped the lives and decisions of many of the major players in the tale.
Phillips never fails to enchant and excite me with her writing. This novel was no exception. I read it from cover to cover in a single sitting.
