My Review:

Radcliffe gets you up close and personal with her characters. The reality of their situations really hits home. You`re not a bystander with this story, but an active participant. Readers learn about the various abilities of the beings they encounter not because they`re told about them, but because they experience them. It`s a remarkable feeling. The fast paced, upbeat writing ramps up the suspense, and the action is absolutely captivating.

I loved seeing how Gavin & Daisy actually met. The convergence of their story with that of Ladon & Rysa set readers up nicely for the next instalment in the series. Radcliffe also develops her characters to new heights in this novel. I thoroughly enjoyed finding the hidden depths in those we spend time with here, while catching glimpses at what their future might hold.

I appreciate the way that Radcliffe tackles some tough subjects in this extraordinary story. Her characters aren`t perfect. More than one suffers from some form of disability or disadvantage, yet they remain strong and self-sufficient individuals. This overwhelming message combines with this brilliantly hypnotic novel to create a story that will leave a lasting impression on readers.

This story is a brilliant addition to the Fate~Fire~Shifter~Dragon world. I love how it ties in with the rest of the series while also standing out on its own. I’d recommend it to any who enjoy urban fantasy and/or paranormal stories.
