My Review:

The second book in Scornavacca’s Miss Taken series is just as captivating as the first. This story is very raw and down to earth. The author’s very colloquial and in your face writing style sets readers up for a very interesting ride. The unique and intricate story will keep you coming back for more.

The characters in this story were quite unique. The male lead takes a bit of warming up to, but as we get to know him better throughout the novel you grow to appreciate him more. The female lead was quite enjoyable, even if she was rather sappy at times. The hidden depths in many of the characters always leaves you finding out something new about them.

Overall, this was an enjoyable second novel by Scornavacca. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.
