That is until her childhood nemesis Logan Mauldin buys his way on her committee and starts making plans of his own.

Logan Mauldin loves to get under Miranda's very sexy skin, and it's only fair. She's been getting under his since long before their first kiss at 13. Logan’s the last man interested in co-chairing a Christmas committee or participating in a sexy bachelor auction, but since that night he interrupted Miranda on a date and cornered her under the mistletoe, he can't stop thinking about her. Or vying for her attention and bugging the hell out of her.

Christmas cheer isn’t the only thing that heats up between the Miranda and Logan, but, thanks to a lie that is as much her fault as it is his, he loses the woman he’s loved since forever. Logan will need a Christmas miracle for Miranda to forgive him. A grand gesture to melt her heart and win her back just in time for Christmas.

My Review:

This was a lovely Christmas story. Romance and the spirit of the holidays float through the novel, creating the perfect setting for Boykin’s captivating story. I love the history and Christmas traditions of this town. It was so much fun! It added to the charm and aura of the story. This novella was absolutely hilarious at times. The contrast between the characters’ thoughts and their actions and reactions was quite refreshing. Wrap this all up in Boykin’s well written, captivating style and vivid descriptions and you have a winner.

I really enjoyed the characters in this story. The sneak peeks at the history between the characters is charmingly enlightening. It builds the story from the inside out. I also appreciated how we got to know them not only as individuals coming together as a couple, but also in the context of family & of the town as a whole. Not only does this give readers a broader picture of who they are, but it also makes it very easy to connect with them.

This was an absolutely brilliant story, perfect for Christmas or any other time of the year. It was my first novel by this author, but definitely won’t be my last.
