My Review:

This is a very insightful novel. Callen takes what could be an ordinary Christmas romance and transforms it into something more, while keeping all of the magic and romance of the season. She brings Marietta to life in a vivid manner that will draw you into the heart of the tale. Her down to earth narrative combined with vivid descriptions will plunk you down in the middle of this ranch and you won’t want to leave.

I loved getting to know the characters in this novella. Callen takes the time to develop both as individuals with complete pasts and hopes for the future. We’ve met Rhett in previous stories from Marietta, but I was so happy to see him in so much of a better place in this one. Getting to know him as an individual, and getting to know his background better made everything so much more clear.

Overall, this was a sweet, funny, & emotional Christmas novella that I thoroughly enjoyed. I can’t wait to read more from this author, or from this series.
