This segment of the story is intensely emotional. Rae deals with the very real and difficult decisions her characters have to make, while allowing us to get to know them a bit better. I love how you really get in close with the characters and where they both come from. At the same time, you also get to understand where they’re both coming from. It is an intensely emotional ride, even considering the short page length. This is definitely a story that will stay with me for a long, long while.
My final thoughts? Holy cliff-hanger! I’m dying to know what happens next. I don’t know if I can wait!
