My Review:
I really enjoy how all of the different stories in this series overlap with each other. They tell the same events via the experience of different couples, all tied together through family and work. This leads to a flow within the novels and the series as a whole. There were a few spots, however, where the writing got a little choppy, but this didn’t detract too much from the overall flow of the story.
I found that some of the characters in this novel are well developed. You get to know a great deal about who they are and what they stand for. That said, there are a couple who remain cardboard, regardless of the role that they play in the story. That said, I like that the trials faced by the characters are written in such a way that you can identify with them, even if the situation itself is completely foreign to you. It gives you much greater insight into the lives of these intriguing individuals.
Overall, this novel was a nice addition to the Bounty for Hire series and I quite enjoyed it.
