25 years later Nylana is sent on a mission to a neighboring kingdom where she is rescued from slavery by her lost brother. Reunited they travel back to Tesnayr and find that barbarians have invaded from the north and the alliances between the five lands are strained once again. But all is not as it seems as something elusive and more sinister taunts them.
Can Galdin and Nylana solve this mystery and save the lands of Tesnayr?
The novel itself is extremely well written. McNulty’s descriptions are beyond compare. They are so vividly real that you don’t even have to close your eyes to picture the scenery or individual. This novel may be a little long compared to some, however, by dividing the novel into ‘books’ the author helps to break up the length of the story a little, without breaking the flow of the story by physically splitting the story.
The characters in this novel are not only very well developed but they are also extremely loveable and easy to relate to, regardless of their station in life. Not only are these characters fully developed into realistic individuals but they also come from many different cultures and races, each of which are just as well developed. They all combine to create a mastery of fantastical proportions. The author also introduces such cool and imaginative creatures into this story that you find yourself not only loving the characters, but their pets as well.
This is a fairly tale among fairy tales. It’s one of those stories that you’ll never forget. By the end you’re so immersed in the story that you actually experience it, rather than reading it.
Don't forget to buy your copy in June!!!
